We are excited to announce the upcoming WATTLE Alumnae Symposium 2027, which will be held on 11th and 12th of February 2027 at Federation University’s SMB Campus in the heart of Ballarat, Victoria.
This two-day event promises to be a valuable professional development opportunity, providing a forum for inspiring discussions and networking, and a celebration of the achievements of our WATTLE community.
The theme for next year’s symposium is GOLD to BOLD: Learning from the past into a thriving future and is generously hosted by Federation University.

- Federation Staff bookings - please add item to cart and provide account code in the notes section.
Please note registration fee is non-refundable. Alumnae are responsible for booking their own transport and accommodation for the event.

Expression of Interest (EOI) Presenters:
The organising committee invites WATTLE Alumnae to present at the 2027 Symposium. We are seeking engaging presentations and workshops aligned with the symposium theme and sub-themes:
Symposium Theme: GOLD to BOLD – Learning from the Past into a Thriving Future.
Sub-Themes:
- Authentic Leadership: Leading with Courage and Integrity - Sharing stories of leaders who have moved from safe to bold, and the impact of authentic leadership on organisational culture.
- Innovation and Impact: Driving Bold Change – Highlighting successful initiatives that that have transformed teaching, research, and community engagement.
