Optional Activities

To make the most of your stay at during the 2027 Wattle Symposium, a range of optional activities are recommended for those who would like to explore more of the local area and its unique attractions. 

Options include:

• Thursday Night Group Dinner – Join colleagues for an informal group dinner from 6:30pm. Venue and registration details will be confirmed closer to the event.
• Friday Morning Lake Wendouree Walk – Enjoy a leisurely stroll around Ballarat’s iconic lake. Meet at the Boatshed Restaurant, 7am Friday morning to depart as a group.
• Aura at Sovereign Hill – Experience this spectacular night-time sound and light show that brings the story of Ballarat’s gold rush era to life. Shows run nightly. Information and bookings available here.

Participation in these activities is optional and can be selected based on your interests and availability.
